Positive Thinking!

I think we can all agree that covid 19 is a bit of a pain! All those plans which people had, events etc., are postponed or either cancelled.
But one thing that many people have come to realise is not to dwell on the negative aspects but think of the positive!
Obvious reasons, spending more time with the family, appreciating what you have, come to realise that you never knew you could paint so on point before! 🎨🀣
From our side, this period of what will be history in years to come, has given us the opportunity to sit down and think β€œright! What can we do? What can we improve to benefit our animals? How can we expand our horizon?” πŸ€”
This summer was going to mark our first go at our educational programme, our idea was to host a series of summer camps. Due to obvious reasons. . . .we are on pause! 😞
Having said that, it has given us the time to think outside the box!πŸ€—
Other than learning the basics of large and small animal care, what about the environment in which these animals live in? 🌾🌱How can we take care of our planet to make a healthier environment for our animals and ourselves? Well we can’t tell you that! It will ruin the surprise of the camps! But the photos will give you an idea of what we are planning!🀫
Did you know your donations help massively with our animal care but it has also helped greatly with setting up the education programme.
We are thankful that we were able to order in a few goodies to help us get ready! What is that large white cube in the photos? That is what we call a TLC, basically an incubator for baby animals! 🐣
Some mighty maintenance has been going down, our walls have seen a fresh coat of paint and our bathrooms have never looked so fabulous (. . . about time. . . )
What about the four legged friends? Well we can assure you they have never been happier!🐢 Having more time we have a strict exercise routine! The poor tennis ball would need an early retirement!πŸ˜‚
Our staff have improvised with recyclables and have created what we think is pretty decent agility course!πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ. . . . maybe it still needs work? but we will get there.πŸ’ͺ
Elvis has landed on his feet with great plans of a palace to be built onto his rabbit run!🏰
So keep an eye out for all this future plans and let the excitement begin!🀩
