Interfering with young wildlife can sometimes do more damage than good.
If you spot a newborn/ calve that is a couple of days old, let’s not panic!
When the calves are born, they generally don’t follow their mother for the first two weeks.
The mother leaves the calves lying down in cover for protection from predators whilst she’s feeding nearby.
The mother will not return until the area is clear from human activity.
Stray Dog arrived at the CSPCA Link Rd Mahon from the Cork City Dog Wardens on the14th September from Sunbeam Vets Nortpoint after orginally been handed into Value Vets Blackpool.

Raya is a gorgeous gentle German Shepherd. Experience with the breed is advised. She is a gorgeous dog with a lovely temperament and deserves and loving home with loads of walks❤️
