Please note, for all adoptions going forward, it is by appointment only. 

If you are interested in adopting, simply have a little look of what we have available, fill out an adoption questionnaire and then send it to info@cspca.ie

Our team will then make contact with you.

Procedure when adopting a dog

  • Adoptions are by appointment only. Once a application is completed and sent to our team, contact will be made if your suitable for the dog of interest or another dog in our care.
  • It is recommend you bring along any other dog that lives in your household with you so that staff can see how the dogs interact, to assess if they get along together before you adopt the dog.

Process to adoption:

  • If you are living in rented accomodation you need a landlords written permission to have the dog on the premises.
  • Proof of I.D & address.
  • You need to hold a current dog licence. This can be purchased for €20 at your local post office if you live in the County.

Procedure when adopting a cat

  •  You must fill in a questionnaire if you are interested in adopting a cat. This questionnaire is assessed and if you meet the criteria you are able to adopt the cat.

Process to adoption:

  • If you are living in rented accomodation you need a landlords written permission to have the cat on the premises.
  • Proof of I.D & address.
  • Cat must be collected and leave in a suitable cat box.
