Stolen Dogs

Stolen Dogs

The CSPCA had a break in at the centre, where a number of dogs were stolen. The centre has recently upgraded its security systems, with over 3,500 euro being spent. We have handed all relevant information, photos and footage over to the Gardai. Three of the five dogs that were stolen were long term residents of the centre, and were due to go to their forever homes in Sweden in the coming weeks. All these dogs are microchipped, vaccinated, rabies vaccinated and neutered as part of the course for travelling abroad. These dogs are pets and are of NO use for the HUNTING or BREEDING purposes that they have been stolen for.

If anyone has information on the whereabouts of these dogs, please contact the Garda Station in Blackrock, or contact the rehoming centre.

12/5/14 Pet supplies

We have been busy over the last few weeks, when time allowed, painting and sorting out our pet supplies shop. Our plan is to be able to supply very good toys, beds, leads etc and in particular food, without it breaking the bank. Wouldn’t it be great if you could save money and yet help the CSPCA at the same time, it’s a win win for everyone. We will be stocking our normal Redmills and Belcando, but from today we will also be stocking a range of Arden Grange dog foods. Free samples and information booklets are available from the centre, and if you have any suggestions on product range or if there was anything in particular that you were looking for, let us know and we will see what we can do.
